With winter among us, I thought I’d take a moment to look at some awesome winter themed photo manipulations. These artists take multiple photos and blend the seamlessly together to create really awesome works.

Scott Callow, also known as WCS-Wildcat, is a 22 year old Artist from Canada. Scott started out as a traditional artist, but he transitioned extremely well into digital art. Steve McGhee was born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada. He grew up wanting to be a fireman, but his teachers noticed that I had “artistic ability”. He went on to Sheridan College as an animator, but eventually found himself in a graphic design course at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario.

Emilie Leger (valse-des-ombres) is an artist from the area of Montreal, Canada. At a very young age, she would show much interest in arts in general. She attended painting, sculpting and drawing classes as well as acting classes for more than two years.

As an early teenager, she was considering an acting career and started casting in Montreal. She would later discover technology and software like Photoshop; she then knew she would be an illustrator. You can view her artwork on deviantART.

Julia Rohwedder (MoOnshine90) is a 19-year-old digital freelance artist from Germany who started creating photo manipulations in December of 2006. During that time her style changed and evolved quite a lot. It began with fantasy art, which later emphasized the emotional side of many images. Currently she is discovering a darker side, showing visions and various concepts. With her work she basically tries to express reality in another contrasting and emotional level. At first he began processing photos with Photoshop and Corel Paint, then for a joke he cut out objects and placed them in non-standard landscapes.
