The Evolution of an Auto Brand

The evolution of design is such an interesting thing to watch. There are many factors that affect the outcome of a design such as the consumer, economy and current trends to name a few. With this in mind we are going to look at a car that has lasted for over 50 years (the name anyways).

We are going to look at the Dodge Charger. Once a hugely popular muscle car in the late 60’s and now with the current large car version this car has withstood the test of time thus far, with only a few years of breaks in between. We are going to look at how the design of this car has changed from the first concept car to the current version and everything in between.

The 80’s versions definitely weren’t the muscle cars the had been. Because of increased gas regulations these gas guzzlers had to go which made way for the smaller and the introduction of turbos.
