Retro designs in the vehicle industry

People love to bring up the past. This is why we have retro designs. Once you stop getting sick of something, you start to miss it (for the most part). This happens with graphic/web design, and it also happens with car design and other kinds of design. This has started to happen a lot more recently than in the past with car designs. This is probably because there were some really good cars that came and went that are missed.

We are going to look at some older cars compared to their newer concept remake, and the see how the vehicle has changed when the car actually goes into production. Also we will show you concept cars that are designed from older versions of vehicles as well as the concept versions of production cars. Enjoy!

I’ll take the 69 Dodge Charger just the way it is, you can improve on perfection.

Have to agree, the old charger would be first choice.

No wonder the American motor industry is in the hole… those new versions all look awful

The old ones are much better looking !
Why doesn’t anyone build the old models but with new technology (same design – outside and inside – but new technology: electronics, gps navigation and other stuff).

      Good post! Thanks

I think that we are starting to come around full circle and starting to get some muscle cars back. They will never be what they used to be but its better than just throwing a turbo in everything.

My 25 yr old son saw the cars of my youth and asked me why they don’t make “cool” cars anymore. I have no answer>

When did the Americans lost their taste of good car design (except of Ford). All old cars on this site are so nice, but the new look like they don’t thought about car design and what the people want a car to look.
